SIMON Modellierungen GmbH specializes in mathematical modeling and optimization in the automation industry. With the help of general algorithms and software for single axes, multi-axis systems and robots, customer-specific solutions are implemented in the context of digital automation. We consider motion control and optimization holistically in the sense of our vision Real Motion – Design – Size – Drive – Analyze – Optimize.
For robotic applications, we provide models from path kinematics to mechanical robot dynamics and the drive train to the power connection. Using our optimizations wear and tear as well as the energy footprint can be significantly reduced.
We also support in simulation and design of robots using SERVOsoft®, the market-leading modeling tool for the drive train, under whose hood also our Optimizer ticks. Dynamic behaviour of autonox robots is thereby easily modeled using our SiMoRob software library. For furthermore needed multibody modelling and co-simulations as well as FMU exports we rely on the proven Modelica.

The company SJ Automation GmbH was founded in 2014. We have been active in automation and drive technology for over 20 years. Mainly in the metal industry for automotive manufacturers, their suppliers, the hardware and tool industry, we are on the road for our customers worldwide. We work closely with machine builders and create the automation software, e-planning and build the control cabinets for their systems. The services can also be used individually. Once the customer has built the machine, we wire it up and commission the system. We continue commissioning at the end customer's premises and provide production support. Of course, we are also available for service and support after project completion. In addition to new systems, we make old systems fit for the future again with a retrofit. This increases machine availability and productivity and makes expansion, e.g. with a robot, much easier.
