The direct integration of the robot arm into ctrlX MOTION for Motion, Robotic and CNC applications enables easy engineering of the complete system.


 

Extensive Robotic Functionalities

The system provides a wide range of advanced robotic functionalities to handle demanding handling and positioning tasks. It supports various kinematics, including Delta, Scara, and Articulated Arm robots, ensuring precise control of the tool orientation in 2D and 3D.

To increase efficiency, the integrated blending functionality allows for a smooth transition between individual motion segments without intermediate stops. This leads to a reduction in cycle times and more harmonious motion sequences.

Furthermore, the belt synchronous movement function enables the precise picking and placing of objects on moving conveyor belts ("Pick & Place on the fly").


 

Putting the drive in automation: compact and modular servo drives

The servo drive requires very little installation space, enabling companies to quickly implement economical solutions that are precisely tailored to their specific needs. ctrlX DRIVE – MS2N servo motors

The MS2N servo motors are designed for high performance: They are characterized by more power per area as well as highest energy efficiency – and this with compact dimensions. Thus, the servo motors in all motor sizes have high torques and an improved S1 torque at higher speeds. The continuous power can be further increased by optional forced ventilation or water cooling. The servo motors also have up to five times the overload capacity, which goes hand in hand with very low torque ripple.
